First Annual Tuscaloosa Area Unified Basketball Tournament

On March 29th, Northridge High School hosted the first annual Special Olympics Tuscaloosa Area Unified Basketball Tournament. In the middle School division, Northridge Middle defeated Eastwood Middle School in a game that came down to a last second shot and Eastwood came up just short. In the high school division, the Central Falcons finished in third place having lost two close games to Northridge and Bryant High Schools. Bryant High School took Northridge High School to overtime but fell short and finished as tournament runner-up. The Northridge Jaguar's Unified Basketball team raised their well-earned trophy and celebrated their victory in front of their home crowd.
